Hi all

Am looking to pick up a combi drill at the moment.

Requirements are that it needs to be under

For a similar price I'd go for a gruntier drill (torque wise) with one high capacity battery rather than a lower spec drill with two lower capacity batteries. My Makita has 80Nm of torque with a 3.0Ah battery and a 20 minute charger. When funds allow I can get a new 3.0Ah battery off eBay for like

I'd go for the 2.6Ah personally. Obviously the 2.6Ah will last twice as long. But the charging time with an intelligent jobbbie would probably be the same for each battery capacity? I use my Makita for heavy DIY use and TBH really give it some - drilling multiple RSJ flaanges with 14mm hole saws etc. Enough that I could really do with a SECOND 3.)Ah battery.

..........You could with your
