Thats the one I need Kerch .  Customer is getting a 10.8KW Mira shower ,   Oh  no  thats pushing it I reckon .  Using 230V  thats 47A .  @ 240V its dead 45A 

And yes its the ones with the stupid prongs.

Have you got a 50 A  MCB  Square D QOE  type B ?    I'll fit a seperate RCD .

Could you , if you don't mind, :rolleyes:   post the success or failure of your mission to the outer limits in the morning   please  ( As long as you have time )   I could do with at least  locating one  tomorrow if possible  ?

Thanks for looking Kerch .   I cadged a 45A  MCB  from a sparks at the wholesalers .   I've noticed that most showers don't pull the calculated current in reality so it should hold .      They'll have to have a board change otherwise. 

 
According to Schneider, there is no such beast as a 50A RCBO, only b or c curve mcb's, there is a 45A rcbo and this is still current product.

However, I'm guessing you are sorted now! ;)

 
Looks like I'm sorted now, sticking with the 45A MCB  .   Showers restricted to 2.5 hours duration .  ;)  

Hang on to those flippers Kerch ............one day , Rodders, we'll be millionairs.
