Because I can't find one.

Today's little puzzle job, is fit a shower in a shed.  The shed is built and all panelled and lined, apart from 1 wall where the shower is going. So the only place I can see to put an isolating switch is on the outside of that wall.  It will be under an overhanging porch area so probably won't ever get wet, but it is "outside" so I feel it needs to be an IP rated switch.  But I can't find one as big as 45A or thereabouts.

Yep me too, could not see the bleedin obvious solution.

It's a shed that already has a hot tub (not installed by me)  I guess he has realised that everyone pees in the hot tub, so you need a shower to get clean when you have finished.

Rotary isolator, but, ensure that you size it a bit above the rating so you have room to terminate the wiring, the enclosures can be a bit neat for the cable sized in accordance with the ratings!

TBH, I don't use anything below a 32A for anything.
