Great thanks will have a gander to be honest not really sure what I want yet apart from multi room got a few months to look into it going to take a while to get the house

Main thing would like in the each room it multi room music with each room being able to select what source they want ie radio/ iPod / media center etc so one room can listen to iPod and some one can choose to listen to what they want, in maybe 4 or 5 rooms? Is this possible

Start with Sonos, 100% satisfaction with all the installs I do, if it looks as if the cost may be outside the budget, bare in mind 1) you will likely qualify for trade as a registered sparky and 2) you can roll out other rooms as funds permit. Some may mention AirPlay but this is more of a low budget solution with less features than Sonos
