Hope to hear some good comments because i have been meaning to try some for ages. They get round the problem of having live joints whilst building work is being carried out as well as keeping the box's clean

I've used something very similar and they were very good, plasterer was pants though,, nice 50 grit finish like I said in a different post.

They allowed me to do circuit alterations and leave the house "on",,, they had extra sockets in the living room and the entire room was being skimmed

FFS, at that price!!!!!!!

we used to go through dozens of them,

kitchen upgrades for LA, spark 1st & 2nd fix on one hit, test and power back on for tenant while plasterer, tiler, kitchen fitter etc do their bit,

back at end, screwback and final test and sign off.

excellent bits of kit in the right circumstances, and re-usable to an extent, but not indestructible

The only problem with them is that they don't have a BS number and aren't recognised bt BS 7671 so you shouldn't be leaving the circuit energised when they're being used

So whats the BS number for the various choc boxes, adaptable boxes both metal & plastic, trunking, plastic conduits etc ?

going on those coments iwill get some from wholesaler on friday are they safe to leave with power on as you say also thanks for all your comment so far
