.............you saw the new Library of Birmingham on the way home tonight .    Then opening this months Electrical Contracting News magazine  and they've done an article on it .

So going one better than the giant Hubcap building in The Bull Ring , sitting between Baskerville House, The Hall of Memory and The Repertory Theatre   is another of Prince Charles' " Giant Carbuncles"    :facepalm:

It fits in like Ozzie Osbourne at the Royal Ballet .

yeah, but don't forget that from the air, Birmingham now resembles an unfortunate childs exploded toybox, its taken a lot of money to achieve that effect I can tell ya

Well ...it looked better after the Luftwaffe had finished with it  TBH.   

Because of the traffic I avoid the city centre like the plague but have to go that way for this job .   Heres a pic.

Theres worse ....... its clad in some sort of filligree design which you can't see on my phone plc .   Heres one I Googled.  I believe that inside it is really impressive but outside.................

good grief. I thought that melted glitter ball thing looked bad enough
