Hi,

If you installed a new shaver socket spurred fcu (3a) from the ring. When doing a loop test would the 25a test current not blow the 3a fuse ?

The test current shouldn't be applied to the circuit for a long enough period for the fuse to blow..

however it will trip the RCD!!
