zs values

HI all got my 2391 soon i am doing sum past papers one question i have come across is if any value of zs may be suspect indicateing why and give a possible reason. I have it a brick wall with this one my mind as just gone blank could any body help please

Yes I have been caught out by this (faulty/dud batteries)

good point. any 'suspicious' readings, and its usually time to change the batteries

could it be lack of supplementary

bonding in area being tested

no. bonding is nothing to do with Zs. it may create a parallel path, and give a lower Zs, but you shouldnt be relying on that to give you your lower Zs.

in some cases, a second earth may be run alongside conductor to give a lower R2 value, and therefore lower Zs
