Hi guys,
I have a couple of questions on my mock paper that I am unsure about and would appreciate any input with these questions, I have put my answers below in blue, many thanks in advance.
1. an insulation resistance test on a circuit indicated zero Megohms between line and neutral. explain...
i ran feed from first sensor to second sensor and can see it has power by flashing LED. i have tried connecting this second sensor to circuit at end light and also without connecting it to circuit just coming off first sensor and neither activates it like the one at front end of corridor, LED...
I am trying to wire some motion sensors in parallel at each end of a corridor at work. There are 6 lights that are connected to this circuit via small plugs. I have got one sensor which work's by connecting it to feed at IN terminal and connecting OUT terminal to closest light. Doing this makes...
I always got told b was domestic, c was commercial and d was industrial so as it was a commercial building and the rest was on a C I would use a C. I am used to working on a domestic do you mean I should have used a D or B?
The fryers worked for most of the day but burnt a couple of hours ago The connections were tight so am unsure why this has happened I got worried I had put a cable in that was too small
I am using a 32A C breaker it is ran is 3 core SWA 4mm, the reason I ask is that one of the fryer's is working ok but the other burnt at the neutral connection and it worried me that I should have used a bigger cable instead- any ideas why it burnt at one of the neutrals?
