Hi all ,  Just wondering , been to a Few units in my time where the commercial unit is a TT system , its fairly new , ... Why would the DNO insist on it being TT ? can we apply for this to be changed ?  thanks  Dan

Hi all , we haven't really looked into PV installation before  but we have just landed a job with 250k init for the PV's . We have worked for the company before and they are more than happy with our usual work so much so they would like use to be come accredited so we can undertake the PV work...

Hi all  I'm after a little more information of the setting on the front of the MCCB  can some one give me in simple terms what the setting mean and how adjusting them will effect the disconnection time ,  i have an idea .ie there is are settings to change the thermo and magnetic overloads ...

there isn't any excuse for rough work  .... unbeknown to you this was part of a large installation and CEF was only next door .  Even if you had to do that to get you buy , there is nothing stoping you going back to rectify its just bad planning and bad workmanship .  ohh and the reason for "...

i recon there are 30 - 40 like this ha ha ...  some even have black tape round to mask the shoddiness 

no it was done by an electrical company ... not just one spark !!!!  :Pray

loose connection on the main incomer ... so much so it burn through the copper completely .... they where extremely lucky  can still smell the chard smell on my hands now ...  :facepalm:

So .... we where working in a factory and found countless bits and bobs like this on top of the crawl spaces .. Y !!! 

got called out on sunday ... no power , humm what could it be ... fortunately we had a new board and beakers in the stores so had them back on a few hours later
