Two points here Fleeting if your going to slag me off for spelling then do on to all.
You reg new circuit with building control depending on what county your in
Why it's easier to be with Niceic napit stroma and get them to reg as cheaper
Im shocked that no one jumps on to this. But hay sheep...
Red and green is the most common colour blindness.
I'm calling Andy a glory tea maker.
I feel that a lot of you just know a 2.5mm cable is for sockets and 1.5mm for lights. Not the amps or reading the regulation any more as you believe you know them off by heart even when they change.
Keep up...
Would you want to focus on people .
We are doing this because your handycap because you are not normal
I'd love to be foolish like you
That you feel that everyone has to explain to you why they are doing some thing
If you read than jumping up like a donkey 🐎 wiring regulations say can do what you want as they are JUST regulation's BUT if you change from them at the time. (IE I'm not ok to wire to 15wire regs that might say on to red and black) and some thing happens IE some colour blind twit mix live with...
We changed colours because of colour blindness, I'm red and green colour blind myself.
Don't forget all new circuits have to be registered. As may void insurance.
Also the wiring regulations are just regulation's. If the place Burns down because of the wiring or someone is injured/dies then...
Dose sound like a switch problem..

RCD test ramps
Switch turn it off in the dark to see for sparks and smell it if any burnings.

PAT the oven
Check the switch, colours in the right place and screwed in (guy that did my sister's house screwed up...
Thank you
Wasn't a job I did , I would have switches a nice distance away from a HOB/Cooker myself
by the looks of it 10cm to the right of the Hob will be and maybe 15cm above!
anyone know where about (if there is) how far away one has to be with a Cooker/Hob switch from the Cooker/Hob
seems to be 300mm from unit but some say this is just a guide and there is no reg to say so.
Doesn't seem any thing clear cut like the bathroom zones.
Finishing up some paper work on a Modular building and I noticed the wiring I to BS7671:2008 Amd 3:2015
Should the wiring be done to the latest or whatever it was when it was designed.

The easy way for Ohms Law is the TRIANGLE
V at the top and IR at the bottom
i= v_s/R (1-e^((-Rt) ⁄ L)
not sure what v_s is !
i / (v_s/R) = 1-e^((-Rt)/L)
1-(i / (v_s/R)) = e^((-Rt)/L)
LN (1-(i / (v_s/R))) = (-Rt)/L
(LN (1-(i / (v_s/R))))/(-Rt) = L
Pi= ((360/y)x(H Sin y))/ (2xH)

all that matters is you have the MAIN one, the Red/Orange one that says you have finished the course
the blue one is mainly the units, you can buy replacments, but i dont think it comes CHEAP!
I didnt know that apprenticeship did 2330, i did think they did 2356 NVQ pre 2357
yes.. 2330 was replaced with the 2365 (class room) so 2365 level 3 next
then you can do a Bridge units to go for the NVQ 3 2357 but i believe you need to be employed so you can show work done in a folder
and will also need to do AM2
just add that i did my 17th Edition in 2013 as a add on for when i finished the 2330
then i did pat testing while i was waiting for my college to do 2394/5 (never got their act together so i had to go else were)
