As above, I've been asked to disconnect panels and want to know the correct procedure.
Obviously there will be AC & DC isolators.
Do you do this when there is little or no sun?
Do you cover the panels prior to disconnection?
etc...

Up until now I've been a Cheese Wire Method exponent.
But now I suffer with arthritis in my thumb so I'm looking for something to do the work for me - any suggestions please? Thanks.
Hi. My client wants me to install a whole new garden lighting design.
They have stipulated a preference for 12v system with 7 or 8 individual lights as well as a some festoon lighting. Remote control allowing control of individual lights/groups of lights is a requirement also.

Do you mean wireless switching?
I should've mentioned the switch nearest CU is inside a building with a metre thick wall and 2nd switch is outside and needs to be a key switch.
Apologies!
I'm trying to work out the shortest cable run for the attached driveway lighting (excuse the ropey sketch!)

which seemed ideal, but like the product you found the spec...
The LED lamps are 230v. (15 lamps @ 20W)
So a 10 amp switch would be good enough but Schneider tell me they don't have the contacts for a key switch capable of switching 300W LED @ 230V so suggested a contactor.
