When do you stop answering the phone ?

I got a separate phone for work so I could turn it off if I wasn't taking calls from the unknown but I could still receive invitations to go to the pub from friends on my private phone. However I'm back to one phone know as I got fed up of taking 2 phones out with me.

    Multi cutters

Just had a look at the video on you tube it does look a like a nice bit of kit. What would you use it for? Cutting floorboards. Cutting lath and plaster. What else? Is it a luxury tool or a must?

Fried my 18v cordless now looking at a new one... opinions :)

It comes with an impact wrench, you'll have to get an adaptor to turn it into a driver.

    Extending the strappers.

It runs under the floor not sure where it goes the switch in question is on the landing. If I go down that route it would be a much bigger job.

    Extending the strappers.

I've never done any heat shrinking I take it you need a heat gun, which I don't have. Is that the only option as I don't really want to buy a tool that I only use for 1 switch.

    Extending the strappers.

I need to move a light, to do so I need to extend the strappers. So I'm going to slide some 3 core T&E down the existing capping for the switch cable. But I need a permanent joint that I can plaster over, what do I need to use?? Tim

    lighting cable burnt

I skimmed the ceiling about 6 months ago maybe I could of nicked it with my trowel. The bathroom is directly above, about 12" of the bath under tiles with no sign of water so can't see it being a floorboard issue.
