All switches are closed and neutral conductor is removed from switch if I measure live of db A to neutral of db a =240 volts if I measur live of db a to neutral bar if db b I get 240volts both fuse boards are in same enclosure

The earthing system is tn-s if the neutral is removed from main switch I get 240volts from live of main switch and neutral bar

DB A and B both isolated by main switch remove neutral from main switches put one probe on incoming live conductor in main switch and other probe on neutral bar of A or B there is then no return path for the neutral as DP main switch is isolate but still getting 240 volts live to neutral

Hi,I just wonder if how many of you would test a 4mm ring for ring continuity .The reason I ask is that a chap I work with testing has said a lot of sub contractors don't test 4mm ring as it can carry 32amps if the ring was broken.i my self have always tested ring regardless of conductor size...

If you have a B32 mcb if Zs has been exceeded greater than 80% value of 1.44ohms you have to do a live neutral loop reading.if this is less than 1.44ohms then it will disconnect in less than 0.4 sec under short circuit conditions
