    Intruder alarm - Panic button

I've installed intruder alarms before but I haven't installed a panic button at any point so I just wanted some advice on exactly how it's done.

    Intruder alarm - Panic button

At the panic alarm (pictures attached) - Am I right in saying the 2 wires that go to the PA at the control panel attach to the silver screws at each end of the electrode? And so do the 2 wires that go to the TAMPER at the control panel attach to the gold screws?

    Electricity Meter

Up until this point i've had no real need to understand what the different devices are in an electricity meter box. I think now might be a good time to find out though! :D On the attached picture what is the grey meter (TRHC) and the black box (BLHC)?

    Capping cables - Paranoia!

The 7.6Kohms principle sounds like a good idea. That's something I hadn't really thought of but i'll definitely use that in the future! ''Do an Ins res with all conductors bunched together on the one probe and stick the other one to Existing main earth as a good ref point, or push your probe...

    Capping cables - Paranoia!

I was thinking more along the lines of if i've clipped a wire with a nail instead of severing it. This way the IR and continuity tests would most likely be fine but when the extension wiring becomes live the RCD may trip.

    Capping cables - Paranoia!

A customer's having an extension built and I was in yesterday to do all the wiring for it prior to the wall being covered and plastered. I secured all the cables in capping, taking care not to catch any of the cables with the securing nails, but now i'm starting to get paranoid and thinking...

    Fused Spur - Concealed?

Thanks ianmacd. Extending the cable in the back box might be a good shout. Is a wago the same as a connector box? I haven't heard that term before.
