    And it wont go off at all unless you absolutely cremate it, they are practically immune to cooking fumes. Perhaps you should consider the freely available Aico Expert Installer CPD training. Or at the very least google the capabilities of the alarms before commenting.

    Just taken delivery of the VDV Pro and the receiver, going to get the 12 remotes next. Seems a damn good piece of kit been playing with it in the house will do everything i need to do with data etc.  Got a great deal on it too tbh.

    NIC Approved Contractors/NAPIT Full Scope/Stroma Full Scope are already assessed for EICRs so likely the changes for them will be minimal and the lower end schemes like NIC Domestic Installer and Elecsa will either have to upgrade or face extra charges to become assessed.

    Does anyone have one of these? Would you recommend it? Proposed use would be domestic and small commercial data and cctv. Any alternatives you would suggest?
