    gloworm 35CI main PCB upgrade

Call me daft if you like but why not get the right part for the boiler?  There's a few places out there who do serviced exchange pcbs  what at exactly is wrong with the pcb? Can you not fix it?

Not joking, someone's got to be making money out of it somewhere.

I've never noticed a problem on the half dozen forums I use it for over the last few years

If she cannot maintain the house or walk around it safely then she shouldn't be living there.

Tapatalk works from a users point of view, the back end is for the staff to deal with, that's what they're paid for.

    OMG

Yeah, don't want to confuse the old people with devices which could save their lives when their knackered old appliances finally give up the ghost an go faulty.  If there are faults present which cause the RCD to trip then they may well be faults which could kill a person,

    OMG

You cannot give a code on an eicr for a non compliance with a building reg.

At least tapatalk works properly.  It would help if I could find out how you get this site to go to the first unread post in a thread instead of dumping you at the first post every time.  And what the courgette has a scoob got to do with anything? Is it scoob as in the car, cannabis, scooby doo???

    OMG

For a start I'd replace the neutral fuses with wire links whilst there

Your regs book obviously uses a different numbering system to mine then, do you have a translation from those words into an actual regulation number?

Yes really, it's horrible.  All the the other forums I use are available on tapatalk yet this one clunks around on a webpage which disagrees wholeheartedly with my iPad.  Im getting bored of refreshing every time it returns a blank page when opening a topic.

May only be a short visit, this site has got to be the biggest heap of crap of a site I've tried to use in a long time.

    OMG

Presumably since there is a central heating system and an obvious valve cable there then the boiler will be heating the hot water anyway?

    Outside Jacuzzi Supply

I don't have the yellow book to hand and haven't looked at the swimming pools section to see if anything has changed form the green. But under the green book it was not a requirement at any time only a recommendation that it be done with no mention of anything to do with zones.
  16. D

    OMG

What regulation would you use to back that up?

    Outside Jacuzzi Supply

Unless things have changed with amd3 then the earth electrode is only a recommendation for any PME fed swimming pool installation.  The recommendation is that an earth electrode of Ra<20ohm be installed and connected to the main equipotential bonding of the installation, ie connect it back...

    2 power supplies to 1

Without seeing the installation we cannot say what the 'earths' you have mentioned are or what they are doing.  You say you don't want overcharging yet have chosen to install a 100A submain which is likely to be somewhat oversized and so not exactly cost-effective. Who carried out the...

    Reducing Condensation

Drain plugs will help a lot more and maintain the IP a bit better. Can't remember the proper name of the type of drain I'm thinking of but it's commonly known as a donkey dick valve, there's one on the air filter housing of defenders

Derbyshire produces a rather potent cider, can't remember the name of it at the moment but just be careful of Tony offers you a pint!
