    I concur :-) Looking at the wiring diagram, two pairs, Red & Blue, go to bridges - doesn't matter. One pair, White, is earthed remotely - doesn't matter. Last pair, Yellow, 6.3V, goes to illumination - doesn't matter.

    Re: Continuity.  Testing the last light on a circuit, I'd be testing on the switched Line at the lamp, because that's the furthest point.

    If you've got plastic light switches etc, it is not a C1 fault. Report whoever did the inspection to the NICEIC NAPIT etc. and they will put you right!

    Is there an actual requirement to fit a ceiling (or similar) switch, bearing in mind that a 60898 MCB is a qualifying isolation device?
