    A pressure washer steam is ideal- our local garage has hot water pressure washers that are great for removing the letters Then use solvent (like the stuff new windows are cleaned with) to remove any residual glue

    Would you insulate between floors?

    I have built a 2 storey side extension I looked at a new boiler, but decided to put kingspan below the floor in the existing house (had to do this per building regs for the extension) The difference is noticable- my gas bill has not went up and i have an extension on the side of the house

    I use a local a-z and find it excellent I have sat nav (Nokia Maps) and it's good for locating actual houses They both have their faults - the a-z does not have the newer houses as it is 3 years old, but the sat nav also has errors like this
