    Thanks Phoenix. Yes the meter is in the property. There is no other cutout. The mettalic supply pipe runs into another MEM box here, connects into Henley block and from Henley 25mm to meter. Does really look like 10mm compared to 10mm earth i had.

    To be honest couldn't ask for better customer isn't a penny pincher just wants to go for best solution I think. Will send him details of Phillips and Quinetic and see what he thinks is most suitable

    No it's the reciever in ceiling mate thats 230v supplied. He's had trouble with these previously just seem to have short life span. That are also only suitable for halogen lighting he wants to convert to LED's

    Thanks for detailed reply Dave. I couldn't unfortunately get access to distribution cupboards. It's an old 50's council block and to get access in there needs to be pre arranged. I don't think I have much other choice than to try to get access and get client to change over to single supply...

    That's my thoughts as well Murdoch on the connections would not be happy to do that and as can see a lot of possible problems with the re routing and added expense am inclined to just give this one a pass to be honest.
