    Meter Tails Size?

If by canabis you mean cabbages, carrots and broccoli haha. It's a bit like an allotment but privately owned. And yeah I've gone with 4 way CU with main switch and rcb o's on each circuit.

    Meter Tails Size?

It's not for general members of the public. It's on private land and only accessible by people who grow things on the land.

    Meter Tails Size?

Guess I glammed it up by calling it an office and a shop haha.

    Meter Tails Size?

No, it's just basically a storage facility for paperwork and a small shop where people will buy and sell their produce with an 'honesty' till system.

    Meter Tails Size?

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm gonna fit a 4 way, with 25mm tails.

    Meter Tails Size?

I think I'm gonna go for 25mm to be sure. It's only a small office + shop with a few sockets and fluorescents in each. There will never be any need to expand the customer said so a 2 way is fine. I did push towards a 5 way but got shot down.

    Meter Tails Size?

Nope it's a brand new supply straight from the cut out just installed by northern power. Like I said its only feeding 32 and a 6 amp circuit.

    Meter Tails Size?

Wandering what size tails to use from the meter to my consumer unit. The 2 way board has a 100amp main switch. 32amp ring circuit and 6 amp lighting circuit both on rcd I always thought 63/80amp main switch use 16mm and 100amp main switch use 25mm. Just after a bit of clarity as I don't wanna...

    What To Charge?

I know this but it's a request from the customer. So I either abide by it or don't get the job.

    What To Charge?

I have test equipment. It's just a request from the customer that they want NICEIC test certification.
  14. T

    What To Charge?

Aye I understand that. I know what I value my time at but was just seeking a 2nd opinion.

    What To Charge?

If that's an acceptable amount to charge why am I still working a salary and not going self employed yet haha. Ill probably drop that due to it being a family friend but thanks for the advice guys.

    What To Charge?

Can we just ignore everything I said in the first post and just answer how much would be a reasonable charge for 8-12 hours labour.

    What To Charge?

I'm a qualified electrician, my friend who has his own nic registered company is happy to test and sign it all off for me under his company name. Basically I'm just doing the install and charging for my labour alone.

    What To Charge?

Not sure if this is allowed on this forum, sorry if it isn't but here it goes. Basically got a job at an allotment wiring up a little on site office and a shop. List of things I'm installing: 3 double sockets 5 fluorescent fittings Consumer unit fed from outdoor meter cupboard Due to the...

    Question about spurring

I think I'm just gonna pull some slack on one of the ring legs and make the socket for fridge + washer part of the ring. Then I can take a FCU off that socket to the dishwasher and safely know its adequate for what I will be using it for. Cheers for help guys
