    i use a y plan up to 60,000 btu anything over we use a s plan due tothe size of the connections on the 3 port valve. from the sound of things you will be removin the combi and fittin a heat only boiler ?? another way is to convert the boiler into a system boiler and pipe in a hot water...

    they went yesterday took my mate for 38 k. share went from a fiver to 6p. i took a risk and bought 10 ....... i am 60p down .. :( god i hate the stock market you can lose so much so learn from my experience its not worth the risk

    if you think getting a 10m cable to a stop tap is hard, try getting 2 x 15mm pipes to a radiator in a fully tiled bathroom or kitchen or 6 pipes out of a cylinder cupboard and down a hall to each room . :) you sparkies dowt know the meaning of difficult lol..... (awaiting abuse)...

    there is always a way, we did some were the gas as on the front of the house and there cu on the back, 10mm up the front through the roof and down the back wall. looked horrendous but complies . :) trunked to first floor. :) find which way the boards run and fish it anything can be done...

    depend what u doing .. always make sure your well covered .. 1 or 2 mill sometimes is not enough most schools or businesses ask for at least 5 mill some ask for 10 mill.

    you dont cement cable in walls, sleeve the cable and cement the sleeeve in place then silicon seal round the cable both sides . :) i do actually agree with the op this is just what he can see !!!! although not bare cables every were it is a usuall diy night mare. i personally would of told...

    i placed a wiring diagram in wiring downlaods and a copy of req for a solid fuel instalation thats in the green energy bit. the second one shows you the req and why . :)

    if under the stairs there is also the 600mm to the front of the boiler, distance of water pipe to electric cable is 100 mm, good practise i would say is not to fit a boiler above a electric metre . :( if in doubt put it in the roof lol...

    loop in to the bathroom drop into the the rcd i put em on the wall either in or outside the bathroom at high level. out of the rcd into a JB pick switch up and to lamp, 3 core to fan isolator then to fan. all bathroom is covered by rcd unless there is a shower there.
