100% attendance

i received a letter thismorning from gateshead council congratulating me on my 100% attendance for 2009, and that i have made a significant individual contribution to the sucess of local environmental services, and this achievement merits recognition.

not something i was expecting, since i havent worked for them for over 3 years

Imagine what they would have sent you if you'd actually gone to work

They've asked you to turn up a total times of none, you've turned up a total of no times at all. This works out to be a 100% fulfilment of requests, or 0% if you do the maths properly!

So, err, congratulations?

unfortunately not. soon as i stopped working for them, i stopped getting paid by them

Sorry to be pedantic, but

0/0 = indeterminate

any non zero number / 0 = undefined

So attendance in this instance would be indeterminate, not 100%
