100 meter extension

someone has asked me to source a 100 meter extension to run from a garden to supply a bouncy castle in a field.

I have few concerns - voltage drop, and protection for the cable in a public area.

I am not sure of the load for your average bouncy castle.

any ideas, anyone?

yeah put a sy flex in instead and make it about 4mm that way there is a bit more protection, also put an rcd/make sure its rcd protected.

rent a generator for the day like most people do at garden fetes etc .. dont even bother trying to work it out .

Tell them to go to a tool hire centre and get a genny for the day

depending on size of motor, it would well be 3KW, so over 100mtr, volt drop would be fairly large. might be best if you can find a hire company with 32A leads (most likely 4 or 6mm

well if they bodge it with a few extensions with 1.0mm

mine comes with certificates and is tested. so not dragged into place by a Badger (who looks like a cat) and left there.
