17th Edition Exam In Somerset.... Help needed please..??

Hi, I recently have been looking for work experience or work but have noticed how important the 17th edition qualification is. I need your help to find the cheapest place where i can sit the exam near Taunton. If someone has completed the exam then please could you tell me how much and where so I can get in contact and hopefully compete it.

The exams advertised on google are the people who charge the most I was thinking a college or a centre that maybe cheaper that someone else has tried and i dont know about. Seeing as it is the weekend now I thought it was worth asking on here for an intelligent reply

I actually paid nothing at all, it was thrown in as a sweetener for doing well on the 2330. They do run it as a stand alone course too, tho its a diff course for beginners than expereinced sparks. That was in 2008 though and I know they have made changes to the place since then, look them up onthe web and give them a call, there is all sorts of funding options too

Im quite confident I will pass so just to sit the exam. I been on the City & Guild website and I got a list of providers, so I will ring around and find the best quote... Thanks for your help

An important question is what other qulifications do you have?

If you have 2330 level 3 you can do the update exam instead of the full one.

To be honest I don't think it's worth paying out for a course, see if you can find someone that will charge for just the exam, It's not a hard exam, open book so if you can read and know how to use an index you will pass.

I have my level 3 2330... that is excellent if i can do that as it is double the price if not. The college actually got us to do some work out the 17th edition towards the end of the level 3 plus I have the book...
