Well done Specloc thats a great result in deed m8
That is the one advantage of doing it over 2 days..
a bit longer to get new sections & chapters in you head a bit more..
but then a pass is a pass, no one else ever realy bothers about how much you pass by!
some guidance our lecturer gave was the number of questions per section..
May be a bit of help for others
Part 1 (scope) 2xQ
Part 2 (definitions) 2xQ
Part 3 (assesment, characterisics) 1xQ
Part 4 (protection for safety) 8xQ
Part 5 (selection & errection) 6xQ
Part 6 (insp & test) 2xQ
Part 7 (spec-loc) 7xQ
Appendicies 2xQ
I assume this must be a standard distibution of questions for 2382?
Its plain to see Parts 4,5 & 7 carry half the marks.
Part 7 is quite easy cuz each sub-section is small.
i.e. if the question mentions, say "Marina", "Fairground" "Exhibition Stand"
there are only a couple of pages to skim read to spot the answer!
Definitions are another easy one,
handfull of pages, most stuff alphabetical
Parts 4 & 5 are the ones to realy familiarise yourself with to save wasted searching time.
My exam seemed to have quite a few questions about protection against thermal effects, wiring systems in locations with combustable materials, & fire propagating stuctures
The bits you never normally read!
No joke, one question was:-
"which appendix has details of volt-drop"
three other numbers & a "12" as an option.
doh tricky marge?? ?:|
