Is there any difference between the exams? except for the amount of questions?

I have past papers for both 2382-10 and 2382-20 and was wondering if i should use both to revise?

I've been advised to do the 2382-20 as i've only just finished my second year of my apprenticeship and have been taught to the 17th edition.

Cheers

Aaron

If you do the exam you would need to do the 60 question, 2 hr exam as the other is an update for those already holding the regs qualification.

Personally,I would take the exam regardless of which regs were in force during the 2330 course as it only scrapes the contents and the 2382 course is about finding info in the book not do you know it all

regards

Mark

I agree 100% with msb.

I too, did the 2330 to 17th. But the 2382-10 is for people who don't already hold the old 2381 (16th), and even then, there was a limited timescale on it. As msb said, the 2382-20 is an update from the 16th to the 17th.

oh nice, i've been mislead then. i've enrolled on the 2382-20 and paid for it...

What will happen if i sit the exam and pass? will it be worth nothing?

these are the entry requirements apparently :S

*Entry Requirement

It is expected that candidates must have achieved one of the following qualifications in order to be allowed to enter this qualification:

If you've just finished your second year, chances are that you've completed Level 2 not a level 3 qualification yet. All the ones you list are Level 3 and you'll probably do the 2330-07.

You'll know if you've done that, it includes 1 online exam, 2 written and 2 practical testing assessments
