can anyone shed any light on what to do to best prep for the course in a short time. with it being open book and I am fairly ok woth moving around the material if i cant remember off the top of my head

Find practice exams online. Keep doing them. Some sites are free.

Write all formulas and as many notes as you need in the back of your regs book. Tab your regs book with markers if you struggle to remember what's where.
