Are you asking for a 25mm deep box that will take a 25mm conduit? that what it seems from the thread title. All,Does anyone know who supplies 1 G and 2G plastic pattresses which accept 25mm conduit?
Thanks,
O.
As my post above states all knockouts are in 20mm, this is because it is more common than 25mm.Why not use a cone cutter to make the 20mm hole into a 25mm hole. Marshall Tufflex do boxes with and without knockouts not sure if they do 25mm ones though. Personally I find it better to use a cone cutter on pvc boxes as its less likely to split and break.Batty
You should try a cone cutter a lot quicker than holesaw. As my post above states all knockouts are in 20mm, this is because it is more common than 25mm.I recently wired a school where we used 25mm conduit for the drops.
All cuts where made by a 25mm hole cutter just like you do in metal trunking and conduit, the boxes we used had a 20mm knockout, and some did have the trunking knockouts.
Metal boxes (surface) do have 25mm knockouts, most metal, and some plastic cu's have various size knockouts from 20mm to 35mm, I have never had any problems with sending a garratt through a plastic back box, touch wood.
I press too hard ROTFWLYou should try a cone cutter a lot quicker than holesaw.Batty
So its not green hornet its the green giant.I press too hard ROTFWL Mine normaly end up the full size of the cone
