25mm Galv conduit

Too lazy to calculate this...

would a set of meter tails(25mmx2 16mmx1) fit into 25mm galv conduit with one bend or do you think it should be 32mm?

Why would you consider putting meter tails in steel conduit , I ask myself ?? And I think you may struggle with 32mm !!

The reason for wanting to put it in conduit is the CU is moving and the tails cant be surface.

SWA is no good because it will be burried in the plaster, think i am going along the lines of chasing the wall's in safe zones and putting a 75x6mm stainless plate over it

You can bury SWA as far as I know , it has an earthed screen . Going to be a deep chase though . Why can't it go surface ?

Old meter position under front room window, new CU going to be 3m to the left just higher so if surface mounted they will be the only things on that wall besides the skirting, customer does not care but builder said no he does not like it.

Builder gave job to me so need to keep him Happy ultimately

SWA can be chased into wall. so can pyro & flexshield. you could also use an earthed steel plate (note: not capping) to cover tails

It'll knock the wall about a bit ,chasing a 25mm SWA in (3 core) . Whats up with the builder ? Its not his house and the customer doesn't mind , prairie hat!! Best tell him to chase it in then .

chasing for SWA will be less damage than 32mm conduit!
