Hello,

I'd like to know how many KW I can run off a single 3 phase power supply simultaneously?

That might be the wrong question, but it' a start!

You need to find out the current rating of the supply in amps. The limiting factor is often the size of the DNO's fuses, but the rating of the fuses themselves may not match the label on the outside. There is another aspect, with some classes of metering, that exceeding the official supply capacity in kVA puts you onto a different tariff, even while staying within the electrical rating of the equipment. As above, please explain further...

Guinness Certainly sounds like it could be the wrong question...….

BUT... it IS a start!  :Salute

Need more meat on the bones for this one....

the forum has some quite sharp brains.....

But even they struggle if the questions asked could be the wrong one!  :^O

Which additional bits of info do you know?

Is the supply already in place, or is it a new supply you are looking for?

Is the max load already known?   or is this a building where the users/tenants of the property are as yet not confirmed...

A similar question could be...   "How much beer can I afford to buy for our big family BBQ this weekend?"

Need to know, budget, number of guests, number of guests who drink..

Number of guests who are going to get totally smashed as they are stopping over and don't need to drive home the same day!!!!

See there are quite a few extra variables needed to get a near accurate estimate of actual supply and demand...

Do tell us more NicoTH   Guinness Guinness :Welcome: :popcorn
