View attachment 4100says 415v on baige box, must be 3 phase for 4 flats right? couldnt see 3 fuses

This is a single phase TN-C-S system.

Hence the PME (Protective Multiple

Earthing)

Is that earthing conductor to the right

continuous?

I'd be more inclined to think it was a two core cable .....
Come off it sb; Look at the size.

That would be a TN-S system with

no label indicating PME if it was a

two core, and larger.

Unless its split concentric and u don't count the other sleeves conductors as cores ?

no it goes into a bit of t-block,should it be in an earthing block? Ive lived here for two years, its a hundred amp fuse, think we've all got gas ovens though.

I saw the same thing at a job my boss took me to and left me at changing switch plates,it was a pub,had three fuse boards, only one fuse on the head,so by the same token this also must be single phase?I'll find a photo :)

thanks everyone, was just surprised 100amp fuse could handle 4 modern (well mine a bit shabby) flats, working on the pub job made me have a look at mine,i was more surprised with the pub, what with the two floors above it,bar and cellar/cool room, seemed to be tonnes of eqipment,oh and a big industrial looking kitchen with 5 micro waves!!

Thought so; quite a lot of houses

around Leeds, University area just

like this.

Being older they are usually TN-S.
