For an annual assesment with the NICEIC do you have to have this qual??

I was assessed today...

MR NICEIC checks though all me paperwork bits..

I say

"do you want to see my 17th edition qualification cert"

he says

"NO, but if you want to show me you can..But I have no tick box to check you have got it

so it will make no difference to your assesment!"

So AFAIK you don't need it at the moment?

maybe next year?

I was told last April that you didn't have to have it at that time, but now as it's enforceable (sort of) I thought I'd ask..

I must have had the same assessor as Special, as mine said exactly the same thing. When i quizzically looked at him, he added 'When i saw all your coloured Post-it notes stuck in the new regs book i knew you had done the course'.

I'm a DI also! Got my next assesment with David Bailey in April!!

I don't get fek all at the moment as I'm dead:_| :_| :_| :_| !!!

Relocated and replaced a roomstat the other day and I just got a call to look at some dodgy lighting..X( X(
