Self employed? Just put your rates up. I probably will next year partly to try and slow down the rate of work (winding down towards retiring)

That’s fair enough, I was thinking more along the lines of those that are employed and are held at Jib rates?
I should imagine it'll have to happen, there will be a gradual 'shuffling up' across board over the next couple of years, partly driven by the fact that its inevitable that prices of goods will go up due to this.
I do get the feeling we are just about to come into a few years of reasonably steep inflation then followed by a recession when it runs out of steam, which Im guessing will probably be around 2026 if the 18 year cycle holds true

wages have been artificially held down for decades, yet the rich get richer. It's time we had a bit of a rebalance, although this will definetly put up inflation.
