My college wants me to calculate ze or zs of other boards from my original ze reading that I took at the incomer.I know zs =ze+r1+r2 so cant I just simply measure r1+r2 of the cable that is feeding my board off the incomer by testing it.This would be then added to my ze toget my ze of my new board and also the zs off the incomer. This is the only thing im not ok with is this how it works?

Ze is external to the installation. you can have 1 installation feeding another, but for college stuff you wont be going into that.

so your first DB has a Ze. any others DB's have Zdb (which is Zs of the submain)

but note that Zdb is not in the definitions of 7671
