Hi all,
I'm from China and in my country we always have wide rocker switches, though we did have small rockers (e.g. Clipsal E30) in my childhood. On arriving in the UK, I was surprised to see UK light switches being predominantly small rockers. On the UK market, wide rockers are rare. Even the brands that have wide rockers in China, e.g. Schneider and Legrand, also do only small rockers in the UK.
In my understanding, the UK adopts a number of very stringent electrical codes for increased safety, so I'm not sure if the smaller rockers are really (theoretically or overall) better / safer than large rockers?
All best,
Christopher
