Guys
Got a problem.
I have two supplies coming into a site.
The existing supply is on a railway station however does not have enough spare capacity to feed to new lifts.
We therefore have to take a new supply from a stand alone feeder pillar about 100m away. The problem i have is the new supply will be in the equipotentail zone of the existing.
It has been suggested to me to gap the armour cables at the new supply and connect the armours at the station end back to the existing supply earth.
Has anyone done this?
Is it just as simple as gapping the armours at the new feeder pillar, anyone got any bonding diagrams for the new feeder pillar?
Do you connect the armours to the new supply earth then gap them further down the cable and re bond?
Any help appreciated
cheers
