I'm looking to run armoured cable to a summer house approx 25metres from the house. I'm looking to add 1/2 sockets.

Outside I have an outbuilding which has a separate fuse board (small unit) which supply's 2 sockets and a light in there.

Is it possible to use this fuse board? Any advice/options would be much appreciated

thanks

Very difficult to say with so many variables, but in answer to the thread title...... i find an axe makes a pretty good job

Welcome to the forum, unfortunately your post is lacking most of the essential information needed for any of our members to offer much practical advice. Electrical design has to take into account a lot of parameters and characteristics about the composition, loading, protective devices of individual circuits, distribution boards and incoming supply.  Possibly if you can get some photographs uploaded of the incoming supply, main fuse box, this small outbuilding fuse board it may allow a bit of constructive guidance. Note you will need to add a few more posts before you can upload photographs, (unless Admin changes your account manually). As an additional point, if you are in England or Wales, (you haven't added your location on your profile?), adding new circuits will require a Part-P building regulations compliance notification to your LABC, in addition to the standard wiring regulations testing and certification.

Looking to run cable to summer house (25 meters) from house.

i have an outbuilding which has a small fuse board in it which has 2 sockets/light in it. Can you just run off of this or run it off an rcd from the socket??
