Alarm test

I installed a Domestic alarm about a year ago and the owner wanted a service.

Whats normally tested?

check battery, clean detectors, walk test etc

i dont supposes any one has a service sheet already made up that i could have?

Id prob check output voltages at the panel on aux supply and check voltage at detectors to make sure volt drop etc is acceptable as well as the above.

There is usually a page or two in the alarm manual to record tests. Or is that just fire alarms?

Usually just fire alarms.

TBH a proper intruder alarm test is quite involved, it's been covered before so wouldn;t take much finding, probably comes up in the 'similar threads' thing when starting this one. General gist was you can do it properly or do it the sparkies way. If you come on this forum and suggest doing anything electrical in a less than perfect manner then expect to get lynched. If you arer a sparky and ask about intruder alarms though, expect to be told you can do whatever you want however you want.
