Hi all, just looking for advice/recommendations to my scenario.

I am an Octopus Go customer, looking to take advantage of the cheaper night tariff window. Not got solar panels and my roof is overshadowered way too much to bother (sadly).

Looking into taking power from the grid and storing it to then use throughout the reast of the day, I know Tesla Powerwall and the gateway can do this, but buying/installation waiting times are very much looking delayed.

Anyone able to recommend a good setup to import /store the energy from the grid.

Thanks

I do have solar but I'm adding another battery and inverter to my system to do exactly what you say. Victron Multiplus II 5000/70/GX will do the job with a battery size of your choice attached to it.

Many thanks John, I presume since I dont have solar panels therefore not exporting energy to the Grid that I wouldnt have to complete a G99 form for the inverter size being above 3.68Ghw
