Morris* did it as a joke. It's short for 'total moron' but Morris told Andy is was short for trademark. I often ask what's my girlfriend short for and I suppose it because her parents are.............

Possibly our member named "Andy" who joined in Sept 08, and first registered the name Andy, was "the original Andy". Although he(/she) hasn't made many other visits, or posts and so has a bit of catching up to do to reach Andy
