My name is Justin, but i'm known as Buba

I'm 32 and live down south in Poole, Dorset

Have been in the industary for about 9 years and worked on various types of installations (domestic, commercial, industrial, etc.)

I am currently out of work and have had to sign on :|

I'm looking in to doing the 17th edition update corse as i am still only 16th.

Hi Buba,

Sorry to hear that mate that you out of work. I was down your neck of the woods last month its reallly nice area. Is it down to competition that your out of work or has everything slowed down by you?

Only asking cos I saw loads of electricians vans when i was there and thought there might be loads of work available. Have you managed to ask around or pick up yellow pages to look for work? I know its a hard slog especially after you spend an hour or two trying to contact people only to get

1. voicemail

2. Definate no

3. Send your cv and we will contact you if a position comes up

Keep positive as you have really good experience which is what companies want and try to really sell your skills.

Other option could you afford to go self employed and what contacts have you got? Dole money isnt great so even if you had to build up business you should be better off than the very little money the government pay to those that have worked hard in the past and are now out of work due to genuine reasons!
