hello chaps,

customer wants 4 sockets 2 lights in her shed, i thought 2.5 but, 20Amcb in house, 2.5 to garage unit with 1x 6A & 1x16A. is this ok as the house only has a 20A?

just to confirm, thanks

Shed be fine

Whats with you and sheds then Paul?

Is this your speciality?

Best to check what they are planning to use in the shed

20 Amps gives you 5kW in Total 4 kW of the 16 Amp socket circuit in the shed

s'what I've got in my shed! 20A protects the cable out, 16/6A protects the individual circuit.

Don't know what Matty's problem is - my shed has 10 double sockets and three lights! :D

Your not into Hydroponics too are you lol

some people want to go ott with socket in sheds but make my quote not look so bad lol.

just out of intrest what would you put don on the quote?

from cu in existing trunking for 1 meter to wall, through there into boiler room across and down to outside (3m) ip box, swa for 6m, me digging, ip box in to shed with unit, should be done in a day.

thanks

Nah - I just have a lot of plug in tools, that I often leave plugged in. I also hate trailing wires. I wanted the ability to leave lots plugged in even though there's only ever me in there and 1 or two items used at once (ie with the dust extractor!)

:p

Do not forget about discrimination of the RCD's too (if applicable).

I'd go 4mm 2c swa from cu & up the mcb to 32a at house & TT the shed.

As for price
