Bacon,

I have not worked for this co. though I have been on install/service etc. for several equipment manufacturers.

Listen, learn, keep schtum to the customer, take all the training they give you and more.

Work hard, behave and SELL, the company, its products, its services, and you and your colleagues.

NEVER let the customer have an inkling of any possible issues.

Then you will do fine.

Working for an OEM is possibly one of the best jobs you will ever get, & I have had a few!

Good luck.

Have previously worked on Newelco,Raydne and Ajax induction heaters and freq convertors in previous job in maint in a press forge.

Doing repairs and breakdowns and complete rebuilds of the induction furnaces.

So may stand me in goodstead for the job.

installed and maintained/serviced their furnaces bacon been around along time

some big kw crunchers for sure the 5 of them used 3% of draklow power stations output allegedly!

Did 16 years in press forge and we had 7 with freq convertors and 4 with genys for the furnaces and all the associated stuff that go with then refractory water cooled coils and the capacitors underneath them.

Only major probs with these were if a coli blew a or a capacitor and the water soacked every think could spend a day or 2 drying the electrics out.
