Hi All

Gave a price to disconnect a cooker in one house. The cooker will then be taken 2 miles down the road and then need re-connecting. How much would you all charge and this had to be done on a saturday. I gave a quote of

Depends on the area of the country, as much as anything else.

Are you sure that:

a) the installation in the new property is up to scratch?

B) the cooker supply at the new property is adequate for the cooker.

c) the cooker doesn`t have a leakage which would trip an RCD (`cos they`ll blame you!)

To actually answer your question though; are you happy with that cost for the work? that is your answer mate.

Definately don't sound too cheap mate. Are they moaning about it or you being abut paranoid. I always get abut parra too. Hate pricing

The way I work it out is how many hours at worse could it take? Which I'd say 2hrs. so 75quid seems fair Maybe 85-90 as it has to be done on a saturday.
