Anyone Purchased Easy Cert Recently

Has anyone purchased easy cert with a life time customer care and updates only to be told very rudely recently that, that is no longer the case and have now got to purchase yearly renewals?

I have an annual customer care package. You don't have to take it out, you can't use online backup or update if not subscribed.

I recall something about free once purchased, although would not expect to get updates or space on someone's server for free. So technically there is nothing else to pay once purchased,if you don't mind using an older version.

anyway, great support and a nice software package IMHO
