great for alarms and telephone etc but never used on t&e has anyone else?

your impressions if so?

I have debated on buying the spizt gun for fire alam installations, I have the stapler for alarm cables but have never really fancied the twin and earth staples.

Don't think they are suitable for mains voltage cables so no.
They are. You can;t use standard metallic staples but there is a stapler out there that takes insulated staples for mains wiring.

lets face it they will never be better than sending the apprentice to do it.

i have looked into it but always thought the staples were to costly.

if you do alot of new build or wooden construction projects could be a winner imo

i hate it on large jobs and you see most other trades over the years getting new faster fix tools such as chippy's fixing skirting boards with air/cartridge powered nailers and jointers with those fancy tape and adhesive do it all in one in 3secs jobs.

and us still screwing conduit by hand :^Oheadbang

it might hang over the edge of your tool bag a little

:^O

If you're going to that extent the Spit Pulsa 700E is on my list of things to get. Just need some more decent commercial work, not much use for the odd bits of commercial I do ATM, need an industrial estate or office block too do again. Can;t see it being required for any domestic work either!

If you was doing all new build should speed up the fixing of back boxes and maybe extend the life of your battery drills ;) ; ); ;)

we was doing large old peoples homes all timber construction the spit would have been the nuts

Very Interesting. I was with Batty on this until I read this thread.

They do look interesting but would need them for 2.5 too. And why are they so expensive for a stapler?

They only do 1mm and 1.5 cables so not really very useful.
your right batty how daft of them if they'd of included 2.5 then it should be a great tool as long as it does what it says on the tin and the clips are durable
