Admin, more medicine please (for us both).

The T72 does look more versatile but if they don't work you will spend more time tapping them in with a hammer than you would with clips.

i don't know why we flap about the clips being plastic ?

where using it on double insulated cable that we happily pass/rest on metal anyway

the old ones will remember metal t&e clips before plastic came out and they where fine on the cable if not fiddly to fit

paper?

the ones that you nailed then attched cable and did the buckle up

Buckle clips.

I think Ian is referring to the old staples with bits of paper on the top, not sure these were meant for mains wiring though?

Indeed. Seem them in a few places.

If you're going to that extent the Spit Pulsa 700E is on my list of things to get. Just need some more decent commercial work, not much use for the odd bits of commercial I do ATM, need an industrial estate or office block too do again. Can;t see it being required for any domestic work either!
only ever used it in domestic new build situations, back boxes bang bang not going anywhere, then when doing flats with mf ceilings use the cable tie bases if you can afford to use them.

quality tool.

Yeah, I suppose if I was still doing house bashing it would be handy. Not so useful for fitting a couple of wall lights in someones front room!

true, cant imagine the older customers liking it to much. but since when do customers dictate what tools you can use? :D

essential for house bashing in my opinion.

LooksPooks just like my paslodes.
It does, but it is completely different. A framing or finish nailer would not have a chance of doing what the Pulsa does.

Nice use of the word 'LooksPooks' BTW. ;) Minor spelling correction fail!
