anyone used them SMD LEDs?

Evening all,

Wondered what you think of these?

I've been asked to give an opinion on these new LED lamps as seen on fleabay.

I fitted 4 Watt kosnics recently and was impressed but these don't give a lifespan so I'm wondering if they're 'clocked' to burn brighter at the expense of life expectancy?

They look great but are worryingly cheap!

its only down the road from me and I pass through/work there quite a lot/couple of times a week.

BTW, I like those 4watt Kosnics, I havent came across anything quite as good yet for the price, <

I found another site offering similar bulbs that you can buy individually so will try one out and let you know how they work out.

Prices seem to be tumbling by the week on these, won't be using cfls for very much longer me thinks.

i have in my kitchen 4 GU10 Led 20 piece SMD,320 lumens warm white

hi Gents

i've got a few of these smd led type (high power 20 smd type)

sold a few on fleabay too....

I will say that the light given off is very good...... however it doesnt penetrate to the floor like the 50watt hal will.

life of these things are very good, Of the 300 or so ive sold only 2 have failed ((not total either)) over an 18 month period.
