Good evening All, I am a 17 year old who lives in Plymouth, I am looking for an electrical apprentice vacancy, I have written and posted my cv everywhere, I have just started some voluntary electrical labouring with a local sparky. I have also taken some health and safety certificates, risk, cosh, manual handling, customer services and still studying working at height, electrical safety.

does any one know of anyone who wants an honest, polite, trustworthy apprentice ? I am willing to do some unpaid work experience.

Thanks for tanking the time to read this

It's an unfortunate time to be after an apprenticship as the government is about to change all the funding, ie you ain't free labour anymore. However, if you are stuck for experience, we can possibly help you with that. We have some big solar jobs coming up and could possibly do with a pair of hands. Dave the Glitz could probaly do with an apprentice, but I think he's still recovering from being a part time lecturer over at Saltash. PM me with your details - I'm not promising anything.

you get some idiots, asking for something then not bothering to contact those who said they would help. obviously he cant be that desperate for a job, probably getting the same to stay unemployed and do nothing all day

It would appear that atpage has not logged back on since making the original post at 8:20 on Monday. He may well have written and posted everywhere, but without going back and looking for replies it does sound like a bit of a pointless exercise.
